THE Transport Team has been rather busy over the past few months with new clients coming on board each week.

It’s great to see people signing up from different areas.

From a program perspective, CentacareCQ is always looking at different ways we can service the communities in which we operate.

An example of this is the implementation of an agreement with the Capricorn Coast Aged Care Committee to transport patients from the Capricorn Coast who require further transport to Brisbane or other major centres for medical treatment.

This service is not limited to CentacareCQ clients, anyone on the Capricorn Coast who needs transport to Rockhampton can use it to catch flights or trains.

The cost of transport from the coast is subsidised by Capricorn Coast Aged Care Committee so is quite reasonable and as always, one Carer travels free of charge.
