Get your free health check in Capella next month

CAPELLA residents will be able to benefit from free health checks and much more next month

The Capella Check Point, proudly organised by CentacareCQ Emerald, will provide a platform for a number of local businesses in the health, emergency and aged care industries to inform locals in the area about their services.

The Checkpoint will be held Wednesday, December 2 at Lions Park, Capella from 10am to 3pm.

CentacareCQ Emerald Family Support Worker Domestic & Family Violence Service Chanell De Klerk and Family and Child Support Worker Taylor Daniels said the Check Point were a great way for local communities and organisations to come together in one place and share information, services and experience.

CentacareCQ Emerald staff and the Queensland Ambulance Services will be conducting free health checks at the Check Point on the day to the local community.

She said their last Check Point, which was held in Longreach, saw more than 40 people attend and 10 local organisations involved.
