About the Role
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing community based occupational therapy interventions for a wide range of client groups including those receiving:
✅ Commonwealth Home Support Funding
✅ Home Care Package Funding
✅ National Disability Insurance Services (NDIS)
✅ Private Fee-for-Service Clients
Services include, but are not limited to:
📝 Home-based assessments focusing on daily living, mobility, and home safety.
📄 Client assessment, intervention planning, and report writing.
🛠 Equipment applications for government programs.
🏡 Recommending and designing minor & major home modifications.
💬 Clearly communicating assessed needs to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
🎓 Relevant degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
📋 Registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA (or ability to maintain registration).
🚗 Current C or CA class Driver’s License.
🔍 Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances.
