Code of Conduct for Aged Care
The Australian Government recently introduced a new Code of Conduct for Aged Care (the Code) on December 1, 2022.
The Code forms part of ongoing government reforms aimed at improving the aged care sector for older Australians and applies to all aged care providers and workers, including those who engage as contractors or subcontractors to the sector.
We ask that you take the time to read these resources, developed by the Australian Government, carefully, as any breach of the Code may lead to the Commission issuing cautions, sanctions or penalties against you or your business.
