Dementia Together supports people living with dementia and the people who care for them.
We offer practical guidance, connection, and tailored support that helps you navigate what is happening now and plan ahead with confidence.
With expert-led sessions, personalised guidance, and everything included at no cost, Dementia Together provides a supportive space to empower people on a dementia journey.
This program is funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Health and Aged Care.
Choose the support that fits your situation
Some people need a short reset. Others need regular breathing space. Many want practical education and tools they can use straight away.
Dementia Together brings these supports together, so you can choose what helps most.

Education Programs
These programs extend the learning shared through our retreats and practical resources, with a focus on real-world strategies for day-to-day dementia support.
Retreats that support learning and wellbeing
Our retreats provide a supportive space to pause, connect, and build practical dementia care knowledge. With expert-led sessions and shared learning, carers can focus on wellbeing while gaining strategies they can use at home.
Developed as a two night retreat, participants join other carers and people with a dementia diagnosis in a supportive peer environment.
Retreats run on select dates throughout the year. Contact us to learn more or register your interest.
Respite that feels familiar
Many carers tell us one of the hardest parts of caring is not wanting to leave their loved one with support that feels clinical or unfamiliar. That is why our respite is built around who your loved one is, their interests, strengths, routines, and the small things that help them feel comfortable.
What is Personalised and Flexible Respite?
Personalised and flexible respite is a fully funded service that supports people living with dementia through meaningful, tailored experiences, while giving carers time away from caring.
Respite might look different for every person. It could be quiet time at home, completing a familiar routine, engaging in a favourite hobby, or enjoying a supported outing.
The goal is simple: Your loved one has a good day that feels like living, and you get a real break.
Dementia education, made practical
We are building our Dementia Education Programs as an extension of the education offered through our retreats and practical resources. These sessions are designed to support carers, families and professionals working in the dementia/care space with real-world strategies, confidence, and guidance as needs change.
This is an emerging program. If you are interested, we would love to hear what topics would help you most.
