CatholicCare’s Domestic and Family Violence Response program offers local, confidential support to anyone impacted by domestic and family violence — including victim survivors, children, and people who want to change their use of violence.
We work closely with Helem Yumba to provide culturally safe support for First Nations families and connect you with a range of services — both within CatholicCare and through trusted community partners.
Our focus is on early support, practical advice and planning, in a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental environment.
Are you in immediate danger?
Call 000 and ask for the police. If it’s safe to do so, this is the best option in any emergency.
If you’re not in immediate danger but need urgent support, you can also contact DVConnect Women’s Line on 1800 811 811 or DVConnect Men’s Line on 1800 600 636.
