CatholicCare’s Family Support service offers early, practical help for families going through tough times.
Whether the pressure comes from finances, relationships, school issues, or other everyday challenges, we work alongside families to build stability, reduce stress, and strengthen family life.
Our team provides parenting tools, problem-solving strategies, and support with things like conflict resolution and budgeting — all with a focus on helping families reconnect with their community and move forward with confidence.
This free service is funded by the Department of Child Safety, Seniors, and Disability Services.
Focussing on building resilience, capability & capacity within families
Sessions last approximately one hour. The number of sessions will depend on your needs, and they will proceed at your pace.

Yes, absolutely. Teachers, health workers, and community members are welcome to refer families they think could benefit from extra support.
