COLOURFUL crafts, hand-printed dragonflies and delicious healthy snacks were among the festivities at this year’s Romp in the Park.

Nestled in the beautiful Rockhampton Botanic Gardens, CentacareCQ’s Family Relationships Centre (FRC) attended the event offering a range of creative outlets for Central Queensland youngsters and their families to get among.

Their stall attracted families throughout the morning with fabulous art and crafts activities including the making of hand-print dragonflies using loads of glue, popsicles, googly eyes and hand prints.

Family dispute Resolutions Practitioners David Sinnamon and Mercy Mpakateni said the day was a huge success.

The pair joined in the fun and got their hands dirty making hand prints on a piece of FRC branded calico material.

The children and their families also enjoyed a healthy morning tea snack of apples and bananas while they spent some time at the Centacare/FRC stall.

The children were mostly excited by bags full of goodies (FRC branded water bottles, highlighters, crayons and balloons) which they took home.
